CP-Carrillo returns as Official Pistons & Rods of USRA, named Mid-Central Region title sponsor

The leader in the high-performance piston market and Made in America, CP-Carrillo is returning as the Official Pistons & Rods of the United States Racing Association for a second season in 2017.

As the global economic climate continues to change, CP-Carrillo introduced the Bullet Series of high-performance pistons and rods in 2015 to stay current as the industry shifts to new directions.

“Transitioning to the Official Pistons and Rods of the USRA was a natural fit for CP-Carrillo,” said Bryce Mulvey, Domestic Sales Manager for CP-Carrillo. “Our Bullet is a perfect fit and incorporates everything we learned from our custom line. CP-Carrillo makes the highest quality, yet affordable pistons and rods for the Saturday night racers.

“At CP-Carrillo we are all racers at heart and it is rewarding to help our customers get to victory lane.”

Many people know that CP-Carrillo continues to be the leader in the high performance piston market. What many may not know is that CP-Carrillo is home to one of the most advanced, state-of-the-art piston and rod manufacturing facilities in the world.

Located in Irvine, Calif., their facility and capabilities are second to none in this respect, and the new Bullet Series division of CP-Carrillo is a perfect fit into an already advanced system.

As part of their commitment to Summit Racing USRA Weekly Racing Series competitors, CP-Carrillo will be awarding more than $3,000 in product certificates to the national champions in USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks, as well as both Iron Man Challenge champions.

In addition, CP-Carrillo will be the title sponsor of the USRA Mid-Central Region which currently comprises eleven race tracks in Kansas and Missouri while also making a significant contribution to the regional and national points funds for drivers in all USRA-sanctioned divisions.
