After a five-year hiatus, the Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minn., will return to weekly Saturday night racing under the USRA banner in 2017.

The 3/8-mile semi-banked dirt oval located just off of I-90 in Southwestern Minnesota will feature USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks in the Summit Racing USRA Weekly Racing Series, with Sportsmans also joining the card.

Under the direction of Glen Van Eck and Adam Ecker, the track will hold a test ‘n’ tune open practice on Saturday, May 20, and will kick off the 2017 racing season the following Saturday, May 27. Hot laps start at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

In 2011, Worthington’s Dan Strandberg emerged as the USRA Hobby Stock national champion while competing at the Nobles County Speedway.

The Nobles County Speedway is located at 1600 Stower Dr. in Worthington, Minn. To get there, drive 0.4 mile south of I-90 (Exit 43) on SR 59, then 0.4 miles west on Oxford St., then 0.2 mile north on McMullan (Pioneer Village).
