Muilenburg hops to Easter Weekend win at Legit Speedway Park

It was a beautiful night Saturday for race fans to enjoy some great dirt track action at Legit Speedway. Mega Motor Sports was the main sponsor for the event which featured all six classes plus youth go-kart races.

The Reliable Chevrolet USRA B-Mod race was riddled with spin-outs and collisions but saw Stephen Muilenburg of Sparta come away with his second win in as many weeks.

The feature was shortened to 16 laps because of time.

Sawyer Crigler from Alton finished in second place and Danny Martin from Republic finished in third after starting in the fifth row.

Michael Bowers of Rogersville was disqualified in the post-race tech inspection.

There will be no races next weekend at Legit Speedway Park.

Racing will resume Saturday, April 29. Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and races at 7.
