Cresco Speedway washed out for Aug. 13

CRESCO, Iowa -- Scheduled action in the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series at the Cresco (Iowa) Speedway on Sunday, Aug. 13, was canceled due to rain.

The action returns to the Cresco speedway next Sunday, Aug. 20, with five fast & furious classes in action, including the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks, plus Outlaw Hobbies. Admission is just $9 for adults, juniors (12-18) and seniors (62+) get in for $7 and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 and racing at 6:30.

The Cresco Speedway is located 0.2 miles north of SR 9 on SW 7th (at the Howard County Fairgrounds). For more information log on to www.crescospeedway.com or call the track hotline at (563) 547-3400.
