Ewing pulls away for North Central Arkansas Speedway triumph
North Central Arkansas Speedway kicked off the final month of the scheduled race season on Friday evening.
In the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature race it was Jason Snodgrass inside of Robbie Ewing pacing the field to the start.
Ewing topped the scoresheet at the end of the opening lap with Snodgrass and John Briggs close behind the leader as they battled for position.
With the cars of Briggs and Snodgrass fighting over second behind him Ewing was able to pull away slightly but by mid-race Snodgrass began to close the gap held by the leader.
Snodgrass pulled alongside Ewing several times trying to use the highest lane on the track but Ewing was able to hold off all challenges as he drove to the win.
Racing action continues Friday night, Sept. 8. with the Len West Memorial. North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. For rules or information please visit the speedway website at www.ncaspeedway.com.
