The 2017 racing season is now history, but you can start the countdown clock to the 2018 racing season at the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo.

On Dec. 1 it will be exactly 100 days until the first practice day at the race track to kick off an action-packed racing schedule.

Saturday, March 10, will bring practice day and one week later on St. Patrick’s Day will be opening night. From there the excitement takes off and starts racing to the season conclusion in October.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action includes USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, with E-Mods, Grand Nationals, Pure Stocks and Sport Compacts also on the Saturday night lineup.

There are specials scattered throughout the schedule beginning with the inaugural USRA Missouri Meltdown on Saturday, April 7. On June 16, the I-35 Speedway will host the 2nd Annual Gary Davis Super 66 Stock Car race which will pay the Holley USRA Stock Car feature winner $3,000. Second place will take home $2,000 and third gets $1,000 with further bonus money all the way down to $140 to start the feature.

July 7 will be the night we celebrate our country’s Independence Day with fireworks, and other annual events continue their tradition with the 7th Annual Racin for Rian, Kaster Celebration, Kids Night, Smokin’ Trackside BBQ Bash and the Central Auto Racing Boosters (C.A.R.B.) Night.

The awards banquet for the 2018 racing season will take place Saturday, Nov. 3, at the A.V. Spillman Event Center in Jamesport, Mo.

The track will host a drivers metting Jan. 20 at the Cameron, Missouri Community Center in Cameron, Mo.
