MEMPHIS, Mo. -- Officials from RL Promotions and the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., have announced a tentative schedule of events for the 2007 racing season at the 4/10-mile semi-banked clay oval.

An exciting season of racing will kick off on Saturday, March 31, with the Missouri Frost Buster featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Outlaw Hobbys.

The following Saturday, April 1, Gas & More presents the 2nd Annual Iowa-Missouri Border War as the O'Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series invades Memphis for a $2,000-to-win shootout featuring the best Modified drivers in the nation. Seven-time O'Reilly USMTS champion Kelly Shryock is expected to be among the stellar field of stars and cars as he looks to defend his crown against the likes of Tommy Myer, Brad McEwan, Al Hejna, Zack VanderBeek, Mark Noble, Dean Mahlstedt and many more of America's Modified top guns. The event will also serve as the season opener for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, Outlaw Hobbys and Hornets.

The first night of track points for the USRA Modifieds will be on the following Saturday, April 14.

The USRA Late Models will thrill Pepsi Scotland County Speedway fans on four occasions: April 28, June 2, July 28 and Aug. 25, which will also serve as the Season Championship for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series.

High-powered Super Late Models will once again headline the 2007 season finale at the Mountain Dew Memphis Fall Nationals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11-13. All three nights will feature Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, Outlaw Hobbys and Hornets, while the Super Late Models will compete on Friday and Saturday.
