Highway 3 Raceway adds track points fund for USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks

ALLISON, Iowa -- Extra money is on the line for any USRA B-Mod or USRA Hobby Stock driver finishing in the top-10 in track points during the 2007 race schedule at the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa.

A minimum $300 top prize will be awarded for winning the USRA B-Mod points fund, while the top USRA Hobby Stock driver will pocket a minimum of $200 for his/her efforts. Drivers will also be eligible for other awards and contingencies through the USRA.

Sponsorship positions are still available and track officials plan to have all spots filled by March 10.

National points toward the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series national championship will be awarded to drivers at 2007 races at H3R. A total of nine dates are on this year's schedule at the 1/2-mile semi-banked clay oval at the Butler County Fairgrounds, including eight for the USRA B-Mods, seven for the USRA Hobby Stocks, three for the USRA Modifieds and two for the USRA Stock Cars.

The USRA Late Models will also compete at the Highway 3 Raceway in a thrilling doubleheader on June 12 that will also feature the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series. The O’Reilly USMTS will return again on Aug. 30 as part of ‘The Hunt’ for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship.

Other events on the calendar at Highway 3 Raceway include the WDRL Late Models and Deery Series.
