Racing, fireworks on tap Tuesday at Lebanon Midway Speedway

The Lebanon Midway Speedway is ready to help celebrate the 4th of July Holiday with a special Tuesday night program of racing and a fireworks show that will knock your socks off.

The racing program features a normal points show for Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts where current national points leader Kris Jackson of Lebanon has just taken back the track points lead but is finding it tougher each week to visit the winner's circle.

Jackson has been wheeling his No. 65 from the sixth row each week as the competition started tough but has really picked-up the pace.

Points runner-up Sam Petty is starting to rebound from some motor issues and Tyler Knudtson is knocking on the door, looking for his first win. Defending track champion Tyler Brown has taken a little time off, but is starting to surface back at the front pack and Brian Myers has been solid this season.

Racing action on the Lebanon dirt track will include the front-wheel-drive Hornets, Pure Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bombers.

The speedway will help kick off the Independence Holiday with a beautiful and exciting fireworks show.

Grandstand adult admission is only $12 with kids ages 8-12 just $5 and children ages 7 and under free.

The pit gates and grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing action at 8 p.m. Drivers draw cut-off is slated at 7:25. Pit passes are $30 for adults with kids 12 and under $10.

The Lebanon Midway Speedway is located 6 miles east of Lebanon, Mo., on Hwy. 32 and B Highway.
