Lucas Oil Speedway, AM Pyrotechnics fireworks show still on to conclude Thursday Night Thunder

One of the highlights of Lucas Oil Speedway's annual "Thursday Night Thunder" program is the a big post-race fireworks display from AM Pyrotechnics. Despite the accident at AM Pyrotechnics warehouse in Polk County earlier this week, the show will go on.

Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said there has been an outpouring of generosity from other fireworks companies in the area in support of AM Pyrotechnics, which has ensured the post-race fireworks will proceed.

"It might be altered just a bit from what was planned, but we'll still have one of the biggest fireworks shows anywhere," Robinson said. "It's great to see the community come together to show support for our long-time partners at AM Pyrotechnics, which is a tremendous southwest Missouri company.

"As we celebrate 4th of July holiday with a great night of racing and fireworks, we will be keeping everyone at AM Pyrotechnics in our thoughts and prayers and I know our fans will also."
