Donavon Flores won the Holley USRA Stock Car feature.

The Holley USRA stock cars hit the track Saturday at the Southern New Mexico Speedway with a main event that featured a lot of rubbing with the racing. With surprise new driver of the No. 777 in Anton Salopek filling in for Pete Vargas, Salopek ran in the top five behind Jason Josselyn. However, contact in turn one sent Salopek to the rear along with Jed Smith.

Josselyn remained up front until a late-race caution gave the advantage to points leader Donavon Flores. He sat patiently back as he has been doing all season, and when the opportunity presented itself he took the lead.

Just as steadily and quiet, Lloyd Turner returned to the Southern New Mexico Speedway and finished second in holding off Smith who finished 0.003 of a second behind Turner. Josselyn was pushed back to a fourth-place finish with Salopek rounding out the top five.

Twenty-four Out-Pace USRA B-Mods checked in for racing action with four heat races setting the field for a main event that saw just three yellow flags.

Heath Grizzle started out up front and never looked back in a flawless race, hitting every mark and never giving up the lead.

All of the racing happen behind him. With several drivers coming to the front and swapping positions, Nathan Smith untimately settled in to finish second while points leader Nick Rivera quietly slid his way up to a third-place finish.

Justin Allen came in fourth after being pushed back early in the race. Rounding out the top five was Noah Hollingshead.

Heath Grizzle won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature.
