Springfield Raceway hosts $1,000-to-win Out-Pace USRA B-Mod special this Saturday

The Springfield Raceway will be back in action this Saturday, Aug. 11, with the ribute to Granny in preparing for the stretch drive for the final three track point races of 2018.

The event will be a full points show and special for the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by Reliable Chevrolet paying $1,000 to win and $100 to start the feature.

There will be a $40 entry fee for the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods for this event with open draw and passing points to help set the field with the top 10 in passing points to redraw.

Action will also feature the USRA Modifieds plus Midwest Modz, Legends and Pure Stocks with race time slated for 7:30.

It has been seven years since Wanda "Granny" Jeffries, was a lifelong fan of Springfield Raceway and her son-in-law, Larry Tindle, was a top ranked driver in the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod class and supporter of area racing. Wanda was given a lifetime pass from owner Jerry Hoffman at the awards banquet. She was always in the same seat and was present no matter the weather conditions.
