Chateau Raceway falls to rain

LANSING, Minn. — Heavy rains on Thursday followed by persistent light rain through out the day on Friday led to the cancellation of racing action Friday night at Chateau Raceway powered by Husqvarna in Lansing.

Track officials were working the track into mid-afternoon when light rains continued to plague their efforts to get the track ready for a quality show, and finally were left with no option other than to pull the plug on the night's program.

Racing action will resume next Friday night at 7:30.
