Performance Engineering and Manufacturing, LLC (PEM) has signed on as the Official Quick Change of the USRA for the 2019 racing season.

In addition to padding the points funds for USRA racers, PEM will provide product certificates to the top three in final Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points for the USRA Modified, Out-Pace USRA B-Mod and Holley USRA Stock Car divisions.

“It is good to see USRA running the quick change rear ends in many classes,” said PEM Sales Manager Randy Harrison. “We believe this will help racers as they travel and actually save money over a nine-inch Ford rear-end assembly with multiple center sections.”

Based in St. Clair, Missouri, PEM is focusing on reaching out to other regions of the United States.

“Shipping has traditionally been a large expense from the east coast for quick change rear ends and components. Our central location in Missouri will help racers, chassis builders and parts retailers with shipping time and costs,” Harrison added.

Embarking on their fifth year of manufacturing and building complete quick change rear ends for the oval track racing market, PEM builds their quick change rear-ends with standard features that are options on some of the other companies.

The USRA will host its annual awards banquet on Friday, February 22, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City. This year’s party will once again be a joint effort for both the USRA and United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).
