Springfield Raceway hosts Military Appreciation Night this Saturday

The "Quick Quarter" of the Springfield Raceway is ready for round 4 of the chase for the championship with the annual Military Appreciation Night this Saturday, May 11.

The night will feature a full race program highlightred by the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods plus A-Mods, Midwest Modz, Legends, Pure Stocks and Mini Late Models as point battles are tight.

Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action last week saw Joplin's Justin Comer end Ryan Gillmore's three-race win streak with a strong performance as the race behind him was as tight and exciting.

As a tribute to past and present service members and their sacrifices, the Springfield Raceway will offer free general admission to current active duty service members and all veterans (I.D. required).

Thank you to all that have served and are now serving our country.

Pit gates will open at 3:30, grandstands open at 5, hot laps start at 6 and racing begins at 6:30.
