Deer Creek readies for annual awards banquet
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. - With the completion of another successful racing season at the Southern Minnesota speedplant the crew at Deer Creek Speedway is preparing for the annual awards banquet that is scheduled to be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at Grumpy’s in Grand Meadow.
Tickets are available on-line at www.deercreekspeedway.com or by calling 507-754-6107. Tickets for this great event are only $20.00 and we are expecting a full house again this year. As in years past the crew has been busy working with sponsors, manufacturers and others involved in the sport of dirt track auto racing to set up a great contingency awards program for the drivers. This year’s list of items for door prizes will be large with most drivers receiving a prize for attending the event. The door prizes and contingency items will be handed out throughout the evening
On the schedule for the night will be the awesome year in review program set up by Justin Queensland with a slide slow presentation of the years racing action. Also the awards, jackets and gifts for each of the track champions will be awarded along with national and local monies for the drivers in the top 10 in points for the 2007 racing season.
Come join us as we salute the drivers who raced at the speedway during the 2007 racing season.
A great night of entertainment for only $20.00 will include a great catered meal by Grumpy’s, the award presentation and Kendall Meyer and Common Ground playing for your entertainment after the show.
