Jake Timm won the USRA Modified main event.

It was a barn-burner in Saturday's finale of the 8th Annual Modified Nationals presented by RTP Company at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

In the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod finale, Shaun Walski put on an impressive performance to take home the $2,000 top prize while Haugen's Tony Bahr followed the Rollingstone racer to the finish line.

Polesitter Tommy Richards pf Mondovi held on to take third, Zach Benson of Princeton, Minn., was fourth and Parker Hale of Grand Meadow, Minn., rounded out the top five finishers.

Shaun Walski won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event.

Jake Timm of Winona, Minn., bested a stout field of USRA Modifieds in taking the feature win and $7,000 top prize.

Polesitter and current USMTS national points leader Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas, had to settle for the runner-up finish while Calvin Iverson of Eleva turned in an impressive third-place effort.

Jacob Bleess of Chatfield, Minn., continued his late-season surge with a fourth-place finish and Arcadia's John Doelle held on to finish fifth.

Travis Krause earned his second win in as many nights in the Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stocks.

The Buffalo City driver held off Steve Dwyer of La Crosse for the win with defending national champion Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D., in third.

Derek Ludington of Zumbrota, Minn., and Levi Sand of Caledonia, Minn., rounded out the top five.

Travis Krause won the Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stock main event.

Meanwhile, Menomonie's Sam Mars backed up his win on Friday night too, coming from the seventh starting spot to claim the win in the USRA Late Model main event.

Barry Johnson of Nelson claimed runner-up honors, Alex Williamson of Rushford, Minn., finished third, current national points leader Lucas Peterson of Grand Meadow wound up fourth and Black Rivers Falls racer Kyle Johnson was fifth.

Sam Mars won the USRA Late Model main event.

Saturday's event put a wrap on the 2019 season at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway with the annual awards banquet slated to happen sometime this December. For more info, check out mississippithunder.com.
