Midway Speedway honors military May 23

LEBANON, Mo. - The action Friday Night at the MidwaySpeedway will find not only drivers competing for valuable track points, but also all military with a valid ID will be getting in for FREE in the grandstands.

"Memorial Day Weekend is a great time to do this. We truly apperciate what the past and present military do for everyone here," said quoted Midway Speedway owner Jack Jones. "This is just a small way to say thank you."

The Midway Speedway will also be presenting David "The Human Cannonball" Smith as he will be shot out of a cannon at intermission. Smith holds the world record for distance being shot out of a cannon.

Racing action will feature regular track points races for the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Super Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers and 305 Winged Sprints.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with practice starting at 6:50 and Racing at 8 p.m. sharp.

Admission is $10 for adults, kids ages 11 through 15 are $5 and children 10 and under are FREE.
