ELDON, Iowa - On a great night for racing at the Eldon Raceway with sunshine and no rain, the racing action was exciting and the night was sponsored by Winger Company of Ottumwa with all five classes in action.

The first feature was the USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods with Andrew Schroder of Keswick taking his first win at Eldon and second of the 2008 season.

The runner-up spot went to last week's winner, Paul Underwood of Ottumwa, with Brandyn Martin of Eldon in third and Mike Shelton of Bloomfield in fourth.

The final feature of the night was the USRA Hobby Stock main event with Don Nunnikhoven of Kellogg taking the lead and leading until lap 13 before making contact with the turn 1 wall and ending his run to victory on the back of the wrecker.

This setup a green-white-checkered finish with Jason McDaniel of Eldon taking the win.

Dan Thompson of Batavia was second with Rick Metcalf of Selma in third and Bob Lynch taking the fourth spot.

Next week will be Libertyville Savings Bank Night at the Eldon Raceway with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing action at 7:30.
