Lucas Oil Speedway is hiring


Lucas Oil Speedway has some employment opportunities for those interested in joining its team for 2020 and beyond.

With the retirement of long-time flagman Bruce Korte, the speedway is looking for a replacement in one of the most visible and important positions at the racetrack. Candidates need a minimum of two years experience, among other requirements.

Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said he's also looking for a new Jumbo-Tron Operator/Media Specialist and a Manual Scorer/Pit Cashier.

The 2020 season will begin on April 4 with the first Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series program of the season, following an open test & tune on March 28.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With its entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks."
