USRA B-Mods battle for $500 to win Saturday at Springfield

Officials from the Springfield Raceway have announced that the USRA B-Mods will compete in a $500-to-win, $100-to-start main event this Saturday, July 18.

Presented by Reliable Chevrolet, this event will award both track and Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points.

The format will be open draw for heat races with passing points awarded. The top 8 to redraw at the break for feature starting spots. There is a $25 car entry fee. A full racing program for all classes is scheduled with normal procedures.

Joining the USRA B-Mods will be the Malvern Bank Cash Money Late Model Series, Bad Boy Mowers Modifieds, Casey's Midwest Modz, Pepsi Pure Stocks, Wheeler Metal Legends Cars and Sharp Mini Late Models.

Pits open at 3:30 p.m. and grandstands open at 5:30 with driver draw cutoff set for 6:20. Hot laps start at 6:30 and racing gets underway at 7.

Adult grandstand admission is only $20 with kids ages 6-12 just $5 and children under 6 free. Pit passes are $35 for those ages 13 and older or $15 for kids ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free.
