I-35 Speedway adjusts schedule

Opening night at I-35 Speedway is being changed to March 27.  This past weekend, weather has damaged some of the billboards and the forecast does not provide time to appropriately dry the facilities.

Instead, track management is making a weather-based adjustment to the schedule. Provided the forecast holds as currently predicted, there will be practice from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday March 21.

We ask everyone hold your enthusiasm for another week. The McCarthy Auto Group Season Opening Frost Buster will now be conducted on March 27, 2021. If you need a racing fix before then stop by this coming Sunday afternoon. Grandstands will be free.
