Springfield Raceway postpones EMS Night to Sunday

The Quick Quarter of the Springfield Raceway fell to Mother Nature Saturday but will be running a full program on Sunday, April 25, with racing action to begin at 4:30 p.m.

The pit gate will open at 1 with a sunny forecast to shine on the racetrack, fans and teams. Hot laps are slated for 4 while cutoff time is 3:30.

USRA B-Mods headline the activities with emergency service personnel getting a free admission with proper ID.

Former Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national champion Ryan Gillmore leads the track point standings with a slim lead over defending kingpin Jackie Dalton.

Gillmore is looking for his third consecutive feature win after a hard-earned win two weeks ago.

Always a feature worth the price of admission, the USRA B-Mods provide three-wide action as they head for points race number three with Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series track, regional and national points up for grabs.

Action will also feature Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Midwest Modz, Legends and Mini Lates.
