Lucas Oil Speedway has announced a two-year agreement with 405 Performance Products, distributor of Sunoco Race Fuel, that Sunoco will be the Official Fuel Supplier of the Lucas Oil Speedway and Official Fuel of the Lucas Oil MLRA.

“We’re excited to have Sunoco as our official fuel supplier and are proud to be able to make their quality product available to our drivers,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. “Sunoco is well known for its commitment to racing and we’re happy to partner with them and 405 Performance Products.”

Alvie Merrill, owner of 405 Performance Products, said he’s equally pleased to partner with Lucas Oil Speedway and the Lucas Oil MLRA.

“405 Performance Products (a master distributor for Sunoco Race Fuels), is proud to be a part of the Lucas Oil Family,” Merrill said. “As owner of the newly formed 405 Performance Products, I (Alvie Merrill) am excited to see the continued relationship between Lucas Oil Speedway, the MLRA and myself.

“I managed the Sunoco racing fuel program for Simons/Maxum/Pilot Thomas for the last 28 years and have been with the MLRA since the early 90s and with the speedway since its inception. I love the company, the people and their support of all forms of racing.”

Lucas Oil Speedway is back in action on Saturday night with Round 5 of the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series. Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company along with OzarksFIRST.com present the action with the Missouri Metal Buildings ULMA Late Models headlining the action with a special 25-lap, $1,000-to-win feature courtesy of Rains Ice.

Gates for the dirt track open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and opening ceremonies at 7:05. Fans purchasing drag boat Saturday tickets or three-day tickets are admitted free to the dirt track.
