Scout Night at Springfield Raceway Saturday night

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Action will resume Saturday night, July 18, at the Springfield Raceway as the quick quarter-mile will be hosting Scout Night of America. Any Boy Scout or Girl Scout that comes to the track in uniform will be admitted FREE.

Racing action will feature the lightning-fast USRA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Legends Cars and Bombers.

Heading into this weekend's racing action, defending USRA Modified track champion Jackie Dalton heads up the points standings. Dalton, who grabbed the first three features of the season has been shut out of victory lane since.

Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps starting at 6:45 and racing at 7:30.
