Springfield Raceway back in action this Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The quick quarter-mile Springfield Raceway will be back in action Saturday night, Aug. 22, with action in all five classes: USRA Modifieds, Bombers, Late Models, Legends Cars and Sport Mods.

Reliable Chevrolet will be the nightly sponsor for this weekend's action.

Heading into the event, Jackie Dalton of Carthage is the current USRA Modified points leader at the track.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:45 and racing at 7:30. Admission in the grandstands will be $10 for adults with kids ages 6-12 $5 and 5 and under free.
