OSKALOOSA, IA (April 19, 2000) — Two inches of much needed rain fell upon the town of Oskaloosa Wednesday night and Thursday morning, however, Mother Nature’s timing did not cooperate with the National Kidney Foundation Heartland Tour for a Cure event at the Southern Iowa Speedway.

Hot laps had just been completed and the drivers’ meeting was in session when the rain began to fall with the original plan being to postpone the show for one night only. The heavy rain overnight washed out those plans as the event has now been rescheduled for Wednesday night April 26.

NKF Tour Modifieds and Hobby Stocks along with the Aaron Brown Classic for IMCA Stock Cars will get underway next Wednesday with hot laps at 7:10 p.m. and racing at 7:45.
