OSKALOOSA, IA (June 14, 2000) - Number 200 will have to wait a week.

Tonight's Deery Brothers Summer Series for I.M.C.A. Sunoco Late Models race at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa has been postponed to next Wednesday night, June 21.

Too much rain overnight and not enough sun to dry things out this morning are the culprits in delaying the 200th race in Summer Series history.

"We're disappointed about not getting to race tonight," I.M.C.A. Sunoco Late Model Director Dick Griffith said, "but the show will definitely be worth the wait."

Should Mother Nature intervene again next Wednesday, the Deery race and the mid-season championship program at SIS will be bumped back a day, to June 22.
