Midway Speedway prepares for Season Championships

LEBANON, Mo. - The battle for the 2009 season championships will finish up on Friday night, Sept. 11, at the Midway Speedway.

Competing on Friday night will be the high-powered USRA Modifieds, plus Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers, Late Model Sportsmans and Pure Stocks.

Weather permitting, an on-track autograph session is scheduled at intermission.

Donnie Fellers of Wheatland has sewn up the track championship in the USRA Modifieds, but many other positions in the top-10 are up for grabs.

Racing action will start at 8 p.m. with practice to begin at 7.

The Midway Speedway will not be racing on Friday, Sept 18., but will resume action with the season-ending Coca-Cola Fall Brawl, Sept. 25-26.
