Duel in the Dirt date set

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (March 24, 2003) - The World Dirt Race League/PolyDome Super Series and Bill McCoroskey Promoter of Southern Iowa Speedway have agreed on August 1st, 2003 as the first annual "Duel in the Dirt". The duel will be twin thirty lap features with $4000 per race. There are two bonus items that can earn the winner up to $10,000.

The early favorite to make the trip to Southern Iowa Speedway is Brain Burkhofer. Burkhofer a Iowa favorite has said he is looking forward to racing in front of the hometown crowd and sleeping in his own bed after the races.
