Southern Iowa Speedway gearing up for WDRL

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Southern Iowa Speedway is gearing up for the WDRL on the big half mile in Oskaloosa, Iowa and the biggest Late Model Show of the year in Southern Iowa.

The famous black dirt with long straight-aways and turns that will allow two and three wide racing around the track at the fairgrounds racetracks.

Not only is there a great race to be run on the 31st of July's race but a the "Party Pass" will be sold as well. The party pass is a infield pass that will allow you to drive your personal truck or car to the infield were you can bring your food, bar-b-q, cold drinks and beer kick back and enjoy the races. The cost of the party pass is $25 per person!

This is also your pit pass to get that up close look at the cars in the pit area. Expected Xtreme Dirt Car Series drivers include Iowans Brain Birkhofer and Billy Moyer.

There are drivers from as far away as Tampa and West Palm Beach, Fla., are looking to make the trip to the mid-west to take on the best Late Model drivers in the country.

Tickets can be purchased the day of the race. The party pass gate opens at 3 p.m.
