Dairy Queen sponsor of this Wednesday's races at the Southern Iowa Speedway

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Oskaloosa, IA Dairy Queen will be the sponsor of the weekly racing at the Southern Iowa Speedway this Wednesday and all paid admissions in the grandstand will receive a coupon for a free Dilly Bar at the Oskaloosa, IA Dairy Queen. The racing at the Southern Iowa Speedway has been very exciting and fans have enjoyed some great side by side racing in the Hobby Stock and Stock Car class.

The Southern Iowa Speedway has raced three weekly shows this season and seen three different winners each week in all three classes. In the Hobby Stock Class Mark Steinke, Doug Gordon, and Mike Shelton have each picked up wins. In the USRA Stock Car Class TJ Criss, Bobby Greiner, and Brad Pinkerton have each picked up wins. In the USRA modified class John Vandenberg, Corey Dripps, and Brian Edel have picked up wins.

After the first three races this season Justin Versteeg has a narrow three point lead over Mike Shelton.

In the USRA stock car class Zack Vanderbeek leads the points over Ross McCombs 277-266. In the USRA modifieds Brian Edel leads the points over John Vandenberg by three points 268-265. Weekly racing will continue this Wednesday night for Dairy Queen Kids Night. A bicycle will be given away to one lucky boy or girl in the grandstands and a nickel toss and candy toss will also be on the track for all children in attendance. We will also be giving rides in the race cars to all children at 6:45. They will make three slows laps around the track. Hot laps will get underway at 7pm with racing to follow.
