I-35 Speedway hosts Kids Night this Saturday

This Saturday, Aug. 6, it is McCarthy Auto Group Kids Night at the I-35 Speedway featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series and Kids Pinewood Derby Build.

Kids will be able to build their own Pinewood Derby car, plus we'll have free backpacks for children ages 6-11 as they prepare for the next school year to start. Like always, 18 and under are free every week.

Admission prices: Adults $15, seniors (62+) and military $12, pit passes $35. Bring the family and enjoy a night of racing.

The I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off the interstate—10 miles north of Cameron, Mo.

Pit gates and grandstands open at 4 p.m.. Pill draw closes and drivers meeting begins at 6. Hot laps are immediately after the drivers meeting with the last session taking the track at 6:50. Racing starts at 7.

Concessions located throughout the racetrack serving your favorites, sweet, tasty funnel cakes, chili dogs, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and tea, water, pop, coffee, hot chocolate, or beer. Check out the great food at the Trackside Bar and Grill which overlooks Turn 1, great place to sit, watch the races, and have dinner! Mom approved super clean restrooms, best racing value for your motorsport’s entertainment, we look forward to seeing you this Saturday at I-35 Speedway.

How great has the racing been this year at I-35 Speedway. Almost weekly there is a race determined coming out of turn 4 to the checkered. Come watch the USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods, plus Limited Late Models, E-Mods, Pure Stocks and Sport Compacts.
