Corbin Erickson won the USRA Hobby Stock main event.

Seventeen-year-old Corbin Erickson stole the show Saturday night at I-90 Speedway by getting his career-first win in the USRA B-Mod main.

Erickson was out front for every lap, leaving little doubt who the car to beat was during the green flag runs.

Behind him, the action was intense and wild with several race cars going back to their trailer with significant damage.

At the checkered, Scott Kennedy and Doug Wallace took the podium spots followed by Kevin Joachim and Dustin Kruse.

Landon Krohn made a late pass to win the USRA Hobby Stock feature.

Krohn found the high line of the track on a late restart and charged to the lead on a green-white-checkered dash to conclude the main.

Krohn started 11th and claimed his second win of the year just ahead of second place Travis Vanden Top.

Two events remain for 2022 at I-90 Speedway, including this coming Saturday featuring four classes of action.

Summit USRA Nationals nears: The 9th Annual Summit USRA Nationals happens Monday through Saturday, Oct. 3-8, at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.

The biggest event on dirt will kick off with an open practice on Monday, and then racing will take place every night from Tuesday through Saturday. All eight USRA-sanctioned classes will participate at one time or another during the six-day event.

The Summit Shootout also returns this year and will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and feature USRA track champions and Summit Shootout qualifying race winners to compete in this one-of-a-kind blockbuster battle royale for Modified, Stock Car, B-Mod and Hobby Stock competitors.
