Highway 3 Raceway kicks off May 27

ALLISON, Iowa - The first race of the season is almost here for the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa.

On Thurday, May 27, the USMTS Modifieds will once again try to tame the wicked half-mile with $2,000 to win the event sponsored by the Butler County Fair.

Also on the card that evening will be the Dart Iron Man Challenge for USRA Stock Cars paying $600 to win.

USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods ($300 to win) and USRA Hobby Stocks ($250 to win) will round out the night.

Gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 and racing starts at 7.

Grandstand admission will be $15 and pits will be $25.
