Springfield Raceway suffers cancellation

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Racing action on Saturday, April 28, was canceled at the Springfield Raceway. Heavy Friday rains and conditions on Saturday forced an early cancellation.

Racing will resume on Saturday, May 5, with USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, Midwest Modz, Legends, Young Lions, Pure Stocks and Street Stocks as round 2 of the Transport Graphics Championship Chase continues.

Hot laps will begin at 6:00 with racing scheduled for 7:00. Grandstand gates open at 5:00.
