Sunset Speedway Park hosts night of great racing

BANKS, Ore. -- Sunset Speedway Park had an overall good night in their most recent event of the 2012 season. The Saturday, Sept. 8, event had the return of the Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series, USRA Modifieds, Pure Stocks and the PHRA Dwarf Cars.

Jeremy Shank traveled from the mid-valley to earn the victory in the USRA Modifieds.

Shank started deep and blazed through the field but had a great battle to secure the lead.

Sunset Speedway Park will be racing next Saturday, Sept. 15, featuring USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Northwest Wingless Tour and Street Stocks while Pure Stocks will compete for the Pure Stock 100.
