March 12, 2009 Four USRA classes at Bloomfield Speedway in 2009 R & J Promotions, Inc., has announced their schedule of events for the 2009 racing season at the Bloomfield Speedway. The first race of the new season is slated for May 1, and will feature four USRA-sanctioned divisions as part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series there. Full Story
November 18, 2008 Waits, Schmitt, Jones, McDaniel claim 2008 USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series titles In what may be a first in organized racing, three of the four drivers that captured the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series titles in 2007 repeated the feat in 2008. Brad Waits captured his second straight USRA Modified crown, while the same can be said for Tom Schmitt (USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars) and Matt Jones (USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods). August 22, 2008 McDaniel wins another in quest for USRA Hobby Stock national crown The USRA Hobby Stock feature went to Jason McDaniel of Eldon, who picked up his third straight and 16th win of the 2008 season by passing Don Nunnikhoven with three laps remaining. Full Story
August 15, 2008 McDaniel takes another win at Bloomfield Speedway Racing action resumed at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway after a break in the action for the pit-stop durn the week of sprint car racing in Southern Iowa. A total of 75 cars in action in all five divisions with several new cars making the trip to the semi-banked clay oval at the Davis County Fairgrounds. Full Story

July 11, 2008 Davis County Fair checkers to Schroeder, Nunnikhoven The 2008 Davis County Fair race was a very special night and a very emotional night with the races being dedicated in memory of 16-year-old Jordan Johnson who lost his life on Monday evening. November 5, 2007 RL Promotions to operate Cresco, Oskaloosa again in 2008; Torch to be passed at Bloomfield, Memphis Officials from RL Promotions, LLC, have announced that the motorsports promotions and management company will continue to promote weekly racing and special events at both the Cresco Speedway and Southern Iowa Speedway in 2008. As part of today's announcement, however, officials also stated that RL Promotions has decided not to exercise their option to remain as promoter of the Bloomfield Speedway and the Scotland County Speedway.
