The skies parted and clear skies with cooler temps and wind poured Saturday afternoon and into the evening for week two of the Summit Racing USRA Weekly Racing Series at Central Missouri Speedway.
Without question, Central Missouri Speedway is coming off its strongest opening night in the track’s 22 years of existence with Earl and Susan Walls at the helm.
The green flag unfurled for the first time as the Central Missouri Speedway began its 2017 race program with 22 Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and 21 USRA Modifieds on hand for competition.
The 2017 racing season will see some new champions and additional points funds and contingency awards available for drivers competing in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.
The 2017 season begins this Saturday, April 15, at the Central Missouri Speedway. Drivers and fans will be greeted to a revamped track surface as 40 loads of clay were added after last season.
