Waits tops stellar field at Deer Creek
Finally a picture perfect day for racing in Southern Minnesota. Clear blue skies, a slight breeze and temps hovering around 80 degrees. The facility dried out from all of the rain and very good track conditions greeted the fans and drivers on John Hardy’s Bar-B-Que and US Army Night at the Deer Creek Speedway. read more
Donlinger nails down third win at Deer Creek
A quarter-inch of rain fell on the Deer Creek Speedway at 4:30 p.m., delaying the racing activity by two hours on Saturday. Most of the drivers and crowd hung around and saw great racing action all night long. read more
Donlinger stays hot at Deer Creek Speedway
A warm but Breezy day found a good field of cars and a nice crowd on hand for the Island Pool and Spa day at the Deer Creek Speedway. Tim Donlinger has had the hot hand at the redraw box through the first two weeks of the season. Both times Donlinger drew the front row redraw for the feature event. read more
Deer Creek succumbs to rain
Another great week leading up to another rainout. With great weather all week the crews have been busy putting the final touches on many needed projects only to have Mother Nature wash away all of the hard work. read more
Donlinger dominant in Deer Creek lidlifter
After receiving one inch of rain in the past 24 hours, the crew at Deer Creek Speedway went about the task of preparing the racing surface for their season opener. It was the opener but it didn’t feel like it to many as the four week delay from Mother Nature took away some of the hype normally associated with the opening weekend. read more

Deer Creek Speedway announces schedule, ticket sales
Deer Creek Speedway is happy to announce its 2008 racing calendar for the Southern Minnesota Speedplant. On-line ticket sales for all regular events and all special events except the 2008 edition of the Gopher 50 are on sale now. read more
Deer Creek readies for annual awards banquet
With the completion of another successful racing season at the Southern Minnesota speedplant the crew at Deer Creek Speedway is preparing for the annual awards banquet that is scheduled to be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at Grumpy’s in Grand Meadow. read more
Deer Creek Speedway crowns 2007 champions
A great field of cars turned out for the last points race of the 2007 season at Deer Creek Speedway with 126 racers checking into the back. A whopping 40 USRA modifieds took to the track during the night in preparation of the upcoming USMTS Shows over the next two weeks. read more
Deer Creek Speedway readies for invitational season
The season is rapidly winding down and the invitational part of the season is upon the speedway. The 25th of August will see the drivers take to the high banked speedway as they finish out the season with the Season Championship night. read more
Timm holds off Waits for Deer Creek triumph
August is drivers free month at the speedway and also kids month. Every kid walking through the front gates received a free popsicle courtesy of Deer Creek. Out back the drivers all got their pit passes back when they checked into the scoring shack courtesy of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Dirt Doctor Trucking, Olympic Fire and Protection and Greenway Co-Op stores. read more

Another beautiful July day fell upon Deer Creek Speedway in Southern Minnesota with a great crowd on hand to enjoy the Adams–Rizzi–Sween Night, along with Firestone Car Care of Austin and Rochester. Brad Waits has won a lot of races this season and was unstoppable in the EZ Fabricating USRA Modified feature. read more
Donlinger returns to form at Deer Creek
Another picture perfect evening fell over Deer Creek Speedway as the IRA Sprint cars invaded the speedway on Justice Brothers Night at the Speedway. Also sponsoring the nights racing activities were Valley Featherlite and Bobcat of Rochester. read more
Wetzstein ends Deer Creek drought
With upper-seventies temperature (a rarity in July in Minnesota) with a cool breeze it was a prefect night for racing in southern Minnesota. Whitewater Wireless and Clements Auto were the nightly sponsor as 104 cars checked into the back gate. read more
Waits returns to Deer Creek Speedway winners cirlce
With almost unbearable high temps and high humidity a large contingent of USRA Modified drivers and a great crowd showed up on this early July weekend. A light breeze blew through the facility keeping spectators as cool as possible on the hot, 93-degree day. A total of 118 cars checked into the back gate on 1-800-radiator and KTTC TV night at the Deer Creek Speedway. read more
Sorensen takes checkers in USRA Modified action at Deer Creek
A perfect day greeted a good field of cars and a nice crowd on Domaille Collision and John Gardner Cabinet night at the speedway. Also on hand for the night was the Minnesota Pork Producers who gave away free pork loin samples to those in attendance at the track. read more
Waits racks up another win at Deer Creek
Mother Nature gave the track crew fits this week by dumping almost 4” of rain in a short amount of time on Thursday afternoon followed up by a day of light drizzle on Friday. read more
Timm tames Deer Creek
An overnight and early morning shower set up hit the Deer Creek Speedway on this Saturday but the crew got out and prepared the track for another great night of racing action. With the temp in the low 90’s and high humidity and coming off a highly successful Featherlite Gopher 50 the fans and drivers poured into the speedway for Images Night at the speedway. read more
Noble nabs USRA Modified win at Deer Creek Speedway
A very large crowd gathered as the prestigious 28th Annual Featherlite Gopher 50 took to the high-banked speedway of Deer Creek Speedway on a balmy Thursday night. The drivers were treated to a pork feed earlier in the day courtesy of Featherlite Trailers and Miner’s Outdoor and Recreation along with a very large list of additional contributors. read more
