Waits returns to Deer Creek Speedway winners cirlce
With almost unbearable high temps and high humidity a large contingent of USRA Modified drivers and a great crowd showed up on this early July weekend. A light breeze blew through the facility keeping spectators as cool as possible on the hot, 93-degree day. A total of 118 cars checked into the back gate on 1-800-radiator and KTTC TV night at the Deer Creek Speedway. read more
Sorensen takes checkers in USRA Modified action at Deer Creek
A perfect day greeted a good field of cars and a nice crowd on Domaille Collision and John Gardner Cabinet night at the speedway. Also on hand for the night was the Minnesota Pork Producers who gave away free pork loin samples to those in attendance at the track. read more
Waits racks up another win at Deer Creek
Mother Nature gave the track crew fits this week by dumping almost 4” of rain in a short amount of time on Thursday afternoon followed up by a day of light drizzle on Friday. read more
Timm tames Deer Creek
An overnight and early morning shower set up hit the Deer Creek Speedway on this Saturday but the crew got out and prepared the track for another great night of racing action. With the temp in the low 90’s and high humidity and coming off a highly successful Featherlite Gopher 50 the fans and drivers poured into the speedway for Images Night at the speedway. read more
Noble nabs USRA Modified win at Deer Creek Speedway
A very large crowd gathered as the prestigious 28th Annual Featherlite Gopher 50 took to the high-banked speedway of Deer Creek Speedway on a balmy Thursday night. The drivers were treated to a pork feed earlier in the day courtesy of Featherlite Trailers and Miner’s Outdoor and Recreation along with a very large list of additional contributors. read more

Rain ends racing action early at Deer Creek
Racing action was underway on Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway with all five classes in action. After completion of two classes of heat races, the rains rolled into the speedway. An attempt to roll the track back in to continue racing action was halted with another brief shower. read more
Waits wins at Deer Creek
Gloomy skies and back-to-normal temperatures were found at the Deer Creek Speedway on Evan’s Printing Night. A light rain helped with the track prep early in the afternoon but once racing action got underway another rain cloud moved in during the heat races, slowing up the action as the crew rolled the track back in. read more

High winds, cool temps and rain in the surrounding counties did not deter a field of 101 cars from entering the pit area of Deer Creek Speedway on this early May day. read more
Timm edges Schluetter for Deer Creek laurels
Another beautiful 70-degree day greeted another spectacular crowd and a good field of cars on this Saturday night in Southern Minnesota. The track was smooth and very racy throughout the night of racing action as the track crew kept applying moisture throughout the night on the speedway. read more
Sorensen dominates USRA Modifieds in Deer Creek opener
Well it finally made it here -- good weather that is -- and the official opening night of Deer Creek Speedway. A mid-70’s day in Southern Minnestoa in April is a blessing, however the 30 mph sustained winds all day long played games with the track crew as they tried to get moisture into the speedway. read more
Deer Creek will try again next week
Deer Ceek Speedway will once again try to make an effort to get the 2007 racing season underway next week. Practice is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, and racing action will commence on Saturday, April 21. read more

Deer Creek opening weekend postponed
Due to the difficult weather conditions officials from Deer Creek Speedway announce a schedule change for the opening weekend of the Southern Minnesota speedplant. Practice will now be held on Saturday, April 7, from 1-5 p.m. The new opener will be held on Saturday, April 14, with racing action starting at 5 p.m. read more

Deer Creek banquet draws huge crowd
Deer Creek Speedway presented its annual banquet with approximately 325 people on hand to enjoy the night's activities. Another great evening of food provided by Grumpy’s in Grand Meadow started off the evening's activities. After the dinner, the Queensland family put together another great night of presentations and awards for the drivers and fans of the speedway. read more
