Mother Nature spoils night at Lake County Speedway

ARDMORE, Okla. -- We thought the race track would be missed and the racing program would carry on Saturday at the Lake Country Speedway.

The rain was supposed to show after midnight, but Mother Nature changed her mind and told us there would be no racing at the last minute.

We know it cost the drivers pulling their rigs quite a bit in fuel, therefore next week on the pit side if you signed in (it does not matter if you got your pass back or took a rain check) you will get free concessions on the pit side!

We appreciate everyone who showed and want to thank you for coming out. We apologize for the rain, we truly thought per the forecasts we were missed until Sunday morning.

Hope to see you on Saturday, April 30, as the USRA RHS Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and $100 to start the main event in a prelude to the following Saturday, May 7, when the USMTS Modifieds will invade the 'Devil's Backbone' in Ardmore.
