Melton wins opener at Superbowl Speedway

GREENVILLE, Texas -- The first night of racing under the USRA banner at the Superbowl Speedway was topped by Wayne Melton of Caddo Mills.

Melton led all 20 laps, with Josh Landers grabbing the runner-up finish.

Billy Brierton finished third, Donnie Powers was fourth and Billy Carroll rounded out the top 5 in the 17-car main event field.
