Mother Nature scores another at Mississippi Thunder Speedway
FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. -- Mother Nature scored yet another feature win Friday night, washing out the racing action at Mississippi Thunder Speedway.
The rain came during the USRA B-Mod heat races, and despite the best efforts of the track maintenance crew, the rain continued to fall.
Racing action resumes next Friday on the high-banked 3/8-mile oval with the Cornbelt Clash Late Model special, bringing some of the best Late Model drivers in the midwest to compete for a $3,000-to-win, $300-to-start feature race.
A full slate of supporting classes including the USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods will be competing as well.
