SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Going into this Saturday's Green Lawn Funeral Homes sponsored POWRi Midget event, there are two new points leaders on top of both USRA-sanctioned divisions.

Following his win last Saturday night, five-time track champion Jackie Dalton has climbed back into the number 1 spot in the USRA Modified points standings. Dalton was able to take advantage of both Mitch Keeter and Bobby Pearish dropping out of the feature and now finds himself with a 26-point lead over Keeter as round number 7 of the Transport Graphics Championship Chase continues. Seven markers behind Keeter is three-time feature winner Bobby Pearish while John Yeoman and Erik Maggard complete the top 5 as so far four different winners out of six points races have kept things very close.

A new points leader in the USRA B-Mods now finds Mike Hailmann on top with one feature win. Hailmann took advantage of points leader Scott Drake dropping out early last week and has vaulted to a one-point advantage over Drake. Springfield's Brandon Maggard, who has two feature wins, moved into the third spot only 11 markers out of the lead while Kaleb Copher and John Yeoman Jr. complete the top 5.

Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. this Saturday for this very special event featuring the POWRi Midgets as many of the top open-wheel drivers will be on hand with drivers from Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois and the Midwest along with international New Zealand four-time Midget champion Michael Pickens and many others.

Grandstand adult admission will be $17 while kids 6-12 are only $5. Children under 6 are free. Pit passes are $30.

Hot laps begin at 6 p.m. while racing starts at 7. The pit gate opens at 3:30 and local division drivers meeting will be at 5:40. Drivers check-in cutoff is at 6:15.
