FLIPPIN, Ark. -- Cooling temperatures brought the fans out early to watch another exciting night of racing at North Central Arkansas Speedway.

The USRA Modified feature race ran caution-free with Rob Muilenburg getting out in front on the opening lap and leading all 20 circuits to take back-to-back feature wins.

Marvin Forrest started sixth on the field, but patiently worked his way through the cars in front of him. After chasing down Ray Flippin late in the event, Forrest moved into second on lap 17 but ran out of laps before catching Muilenburg.

Stephen Muilenburg spent the night fighting hard for position and trying to find a lane to move forward but was forced to settle for third after working past Flippin late in the race.

NCAS has another full race program on tap for Friday night Aug. 17, featuring the $1,000-to-win Super Stick shootout, along with racing in every class. The Racing For Education Kids Club will have more giveaways for the kids during intermission along with the traditional candy toss for children 12 and under.

North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. The gates open at 6:00 on Friday nights, with the racing starting at 8:00. Adult admission - $10; seniors and those with a military ID Card - $8; children 7-14 years of age - $5; kids 6 and under get in free. A family plan is just $20 for 2 adults and any children 14 and under, and a pit pass is available for $25.
