SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- The School of Hard Knocks will hit the high banks of the Deer Creek Speedway this Saturday night as 10 local schools battle it out for bragging rights.

The school year is coming to an end but it wouldn't be complete without the annual Johnston Autostores School Bus Races at Deer Creek Speedway. This family fun event has become one of the highest attended events on the schedule and a way for kids of all ages to enjoy an affordable night out.

The weekend's event will kick off at 2 p.m. on Button Buck Speedway as the little stars and their cars will compete during night #2 of the championship point battle. The draw cut-off and the drivers meeting for those competing on Deer Creek Speedway will take place at 4:30 at the scales. RACEceivers and transponders will be required with a limited quantity available to rent. The first green flag is scheduled to fly at 5 p.m.
