WHEATLAND, Mo. -- The Bolivar Herald-Free Press presents another great night of Lucas Oil Speedway Budweiser Weekly Racing Series action this Saturday, May 17. Get your discount coupons for this week's big race in The Bolivar Herald-Free Press.

Classes in action include the ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks, and the Tri-Lakes RV USRA B-Mods. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will be running a special 25-lap $750 to win main event courtesy of Hatfield Racing Engines as the featured class of the evening.

A pair of Lockwood, Missouri drivers hold down the top two spots in the season long points standings in the ALPS Food Store ULMA Late Models as Jake Williams leads Dwight Neihoff by a mere eight points with three races in the books. Harrisonville, Missouri's Ethan Young holds down the third position only 26 points out of the lead with last weekend's feature winner Brian Schutt in fourth. Second generation driver Payton Looney rounds out the Top-5 with 122 points, just 40 out of the lead.

Nevada, Missouri's Jon Sheets sits at the top of the Pitts Homes USRA Modified standings after debuting a new MB Custom Chassis last Saturday night. Henley, Missouri's Jason Russell rides in second only 13 markers behind Sheets. Hermitage, Missouri's Jason Pursley sits in third as the local favorite continues to have a stellar season so far in 2014. Nathan Vaughn in the 12v occupies the fourth spot with Fair Grove racer Mickey Burrell in fifth.

Despite his domination of the RACEceiver Victory Lane in 2014, the "Buckhorn Bullet" David Hendrix holds a yet surmountable 46 point lead over Camdenton, Missouri's Kenny Carroll. Former Track Champion Marc Carter out of Warrensburg Missouri sits in third just six points behind Carroll. A pair of Wheatland drivers round out the top-5 as Randy Gilmore and Chip Shaddox sit fourth and fifth respectively.

Two-time and defending Tri-Lakes RV B-Mod Track Champion Kris Jackson sits atop the USRA B-Mod leaderboard but the 11-point margin is razor thin as Wheatland's Mike Streigel continues his pursuit of his first ever Lucas Oil Speedway Track Championship in the second spot. Fort Scott, Kansas driver Andy Bryant is 36 points behind the leaders in third while Sparta's Steve Muilenburg rides in fourth after his win this past Saturday night. Bobby Williams in his new GRT rounds out the top-5.
