FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. -- Mississippi Thunder Speedway is pleased to welcome Wehrs Machine and Racing Products to the growing list of supporters who are adding bonus money to the already strong payout at the 1/3-mile oval.

Friday May 9th, Mississippi Thunder Speedway owner Bob Timm announced that Chad Wehrs from Wehrs Machine and Racing Products was personally agreeing to a guaranteed weekly bonus of $100 for each regular season USRA Modified feature winner! "Wehrs Machine and Racing Products is a great business that is providing excellent services and materials for local, regional and national racers," said Timm, a successful racer himself, "plus, they make a ton of really nice racing components!"

As part of the agreement, Chad Wehrs has put together the "Wehrs' Winner's Bonus" which will add $100 to the already posted payout for the winner of each regular season RiverCity Manufacturing and Machining USRA Modified feature! With the "Wehrs' Winner's Bonus", the feature winner's payout looks like this:

All bonus money will be paid in addition to the published Mississippi Thunder Speedway regular weekly payout. For example, with 11-23 Rivercity Manufacturing USRA Modifieds taking to the track, and at least 550 paying spectators in the grand stands, the "Wehrs' Winner's Bonus" purse will pay $700.00 to the feature winner. If there is a rainout, the "Wehrs' Winner's Bonus" rolls forward and is ADDED to the following week's bonus meaning that the following week (with same car count and spectators) would pay $800.00 for 1st!
