Back to School Night this Saturday at Springfield Raceway

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield Raceway officials announced today that this Saturday night July 12th the Raceway will host their annual Back to School Night presented by Pepsi. The first 100 kids (12 and under) to pass through the grandstand gates will receive a FREE backpack, compliments of Pepsi and the Springfield Raceway. Two of the backpacks will have a Golden ticket placed inside them valued at $50.00. Several other prizes will be given away throughout the evening.

Racing action will include six classes of racecars competing on the high banks of the Springfield Raceway. USRA A-Modifieds, USRA B-Modifieds, Midwest Modz, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Legend Cars. The point battles are heating up with 5 of the classes up for grabs to see who will win the coveted Track Championship.

Pit gate opens at 4:00pm, grandstands will open at 5:30pm and hot laps will start at 6:20pm. The green flag drops at 7:00pm. Pricing for Back to School night are $25 for pit passes, adult grandstands will be $12.00, seniors are $10.00 and kids 6-12 are only $5.00 with 5 & under are free.
